Chandler Riggs Spotted On The Set Of The Walking Dead

April fool? Chandler Riggs claimed that in the last episode of the walking Dead As an April Fools’ Day joke, but the actor’s return to the set is no joke. Riggs played Carl Grimes for the first eight seasons of the walking Dead He planned to stay for at least two more, but Carl committed suicide before succumbing to the sting of the pedestrians in Season 8. Filming has since ended at the series’ finale in Senoia, Georgia, ending a production that ran 177 episodes across 11 seasons and 12 years.

“I’m in the last episode of TWDApparently on April 1, Riggs revealed that the tweet was an April Fools’ Day joke with a follow-up posted just a minute later: “Happy April first.”

Riggs’ tweets came after eyed fans spotted the eagle actor among the crowd in the official cast and crew photo taken from the Senoia’s Hilltop. (Riggs recently attended the Fandemic Tour Atlanta convention with former co-star Sarah Wayne Callies, who played Lori Grimes.)

Was it a friendly visit before? the walking Dead Have you finished filming forever? Will Riggs have a cameo as an anonymous walker (like series finale director and special makeup effects expert Greg Nicotero?) Will Karl come back from the dead?! Karl may never be back in the body again, but Riggs has said he will reprise the role he first played when he was 10 years old.

Riggs said in a 2020 interview when asked about returning to the walking Dead being. “I don’t expect it to happen in any current show, but maybe I hope it does in something else. I don’t know, we’ll see.”
